How to use this tool

  1. Click Find my location and allow the browser permission request.
  2. Check the map, coordinates and reported accuracy before relying on the result.
  3. Copy your coordinates or use Share location. On supported devices, a sharing menu opens; otherwise the map link is copied.
A shared map link is a snapshot of your position. It does not update as you move. Anyone with that link can see the coordinates.

Questions about your location

Why does InfoHubs ask for location permission?

Your browser protects access to your device location. We request it only when you click Find my location. You can decline or revoke permission in your browser settings.

Will this show my exact street address?

Not always. Our place-name service returns a locality, city, region and country where available. Coordinates may be precise, but a street number is not guaranteed. Check the map and confirm the address yourself.

Why is the location wrong or approximate?

Your browser may use GPS, Wi-Fi or other signals. Buildings, weak GPS reception and desktop devices can affect accuracy. The reported accuracy is an estimate in metres, not a guarantee.

Do you save my location?

This version does not save coordinates in a database or browser storage. Third-party map and place-name services receive location data when used. Shared links contain your coordinates.

Can I use this without allowing location?

Yes. Use the coordinate lookup, coordinate converter or distance calculator with coordinates you enter yourself.
